I, for one, am a skeptic when it comes to any medicine that is not entirely western. Our minds are programmed such that we naturally want only to use things we know and trust will help us. People are reluctant to try new things. While in the military, I was exposed to many different cultures and ways of thinking. One of the things I tried while in South Korea I attempted was acupuncture. Had I not been exposed to that type of herbal medicine, I would have never known the magnificent effects all herbal medicine has to offer. I found an interesting read and a different take on the fusion of western and eastern medicine.
